Phonics Lessons

What order do your phonics lessons take?

I was asked recently in what order should you teach consonant sounds. What a great question! so I did some research and discovered that many of the phonics programs differ in which letters they teach first.

The order in which one presents phonics lessons to children seems to be a matter of personal preference, although there are studies that suggest one method is superior to another. I do have my own opinion, which I will share later, but first.. I thought I would throw this question open and ask "What letters or sounds do you teach first?"

Share what works for you!
